I’m calling, in celebration of international human rights day and asking that he/she cosponsor H. Res. 416, a resolution expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that the United States should become an international human rights leader by ratifying and implementing certain core international treaties, including the treaty for economic rights. I believe that health, housing, food security and decent job conditions and wages are necessary to fulfill the American dream and are therefore every American’s human right to obtain.
